Y-CON 2024 Raffle Auction to support the Library’s Adopt-A-Book Program!

The annual Y-CON Charity raffle auction returns - with this years proceeds supporting the Western Counties Regional Library's Adopt-A-Book program! 🕮 The library’s Adopt-a-Book campaign puts new books on library shelves throughout the region. The books purchased through the program helps your library offer the latest books to 16,000 users across Yarmouth, Shelburne and Digby counties.

There is an amazing lineup of generously donated items for this years auction. We can't wait for you to see them all! Learn more about the raffle auction today.

We're excited to announce the debut of a brand new Y-CON event - Speed Puzzle Competitions sponsored by Gator Byte Computers & Entertainment! 🧩
Speed puzzling is a competition between individuals, pairs or teams where you get a 500 or 1000 piece puzzle and only an hour an a half to finish it - or as much as you can!

Speed Puzzle Schedule

  • Individuals: Sunday, June 2nd - 10:00am to Noon
  • Pairs: Sunday, June 2nd - Noon to 2:00pm
  • Teams: Sunday, June 2nd - 2:00pm to 4:00pm

We're so excited to announce our third Y-CON 2024 guest - artist Brianna June! 🎉

Brianna June is a freelance comic illustrator from the East Coast of Canada. Her Professional work includes illustrated variant covers and colors for Archie Comics, Second Sight Publishing, Keenspot Publishing, creator owned comics as well works in Animation with Cartoon Conrad. Currently working with GY6 Studios creating comics and doing variant covers. See more of her work @briannajuneart on Instagram.
