Grab Your Codex

Pick up your Con Quest Codex booklet when you check in at the Info Desk. OR go straight to the Hyrule Merch table to get Premium Con Quest Codex. VIP Pass holders. You will have a Premium Con Quest Codex in your Swag bag.

Inside, you’ll find:

themed sections representing major convention zones
Missions and tasks for each section like attend panels, visit vendors, participate in events, etc.
Scavenger hunts & Discover your Tribe activities

Complete Missions & Collect Stamps

Each area of the con has special tasks. Complete them and get a stamp from an event volunteer or booth rep, Missions may include:

Attending a panel or workshop
Visiting a spotlight vendor
Playing a round in the video game lounge
Joining a board game tournament
Checking in with guest creators
Trying a new RPG or TCG
Bidding in the auction
Completing a "Find Your Tribe" task

Earn & Trade Your Codex Cards

When you complete any task in the codex you will receive a stamp. Once you have received 3 stamps on a Page, you can claim a random card pack. Somepages will have the space for multiple stamps and you can get more than 3 on most pages.

Each card is part of a 36-card set that, when fully collected:

Forms an exclusive short story on the front
Builds a puzzle image on the back

What is the Con Quest Codex?
1. The Con Quest Codex is a fun, interactive passport style booklet that guides you through missions and activities at Y-Con. As you complete tasks, you earn stamps and unlock exclusive collectible cards.
How do I get a Con Quest Codex?
1. Pick up your Codex booklet at the registration desk when you check in to Y-Con with a VIP or Weekend pass. Day pass holders can receive one at the info booth in the convention. Supplies are limited, so don’t wait too long!
I saw the VIP bag has a premium Con Quest Codex, can I get one of those too?
1. Yes you can! They can be purchased at the Hyrule Merch Table
What is a premium Con Quest Codex?
1. The Y-con Con Quest Codex is a high quality Codex with all the perks and features of a standard Codex that also includes secret missions, puzzles, interactive activities and more. You can access one of these though the VIP swag bags or by upgrading your standard codex at the Hyrul Merch table. Don't worry we will transfer any stamps you've already gotten! This codex is a great long term keepsake that might even give you more Y-con activities and information all year long.

1. Yes there are, there are a number of secret activities and challenges for you.
Can I get something to hold my passport?
1. Yes there are lanyard Con Quest Codex holders available at the Merch table.
Is there a cost to participate?
1. The Codex program is free with your convention pass just pick up your booklet at the info booth and start your adventure! There is the option for a Premium Con Quest Codex which has extra quest puzzles and even ways to stay entertained beyond the convention.
What kind of missions are in the Codex?
1. Missions include a wide range of activities across the con, such as:
  1. Attending panels
  2. Visiting vendors and artists
  3. Joining a game or tournament
  4. Discovering your "Tribe"
  5. Trying out RPGs, TCGs, or video games
  6. Checking in with guest creators
  7. Taking part in special events like the auction
  8. And helping your Y-con “Clan”
How do I earn stamps?
1. Each time you complete a mission, visit a Codex checkpoint or show proof of your participation to a volunteer or booth rep. They’ll stamp your Codex!
What do I get for collecting stamps?
1. For every 3 stamps on a page, you can redeem a random Codex card pack. Some pages allow for more than 3 stamps, giving you more chances to earn!

Can I trade cards with others?
1. Yes! Trading is encouraged. Meet fellow adventurers, trade duplicates, and work together to complete your set.
What if I don’t finish?
1. No worries! The Codex is designed for replay. Bring your cards back next year, continue your collection, and build your personal archive of Y-Con lore.
