The Cosplay Contest
Held typically on Saturday, this is a craftsmanship competition with a pre-judging component and a runway display. Pre-judging will be held before the runway show. Our judges will judge you on your craftsmanship, attention to detail, and uniqueness. For anyone who doesn’t want to compete but still wants to show off their great cosplay, just sign in and let us know you have a walk-on only. (You will still have your official private photo during pre-judging.)

- Craftsmanship

- Attention to detail
- Creativity/inventiveness
- Originality
- Interpretation and accuracy of an existing character (in any medium; this is not required. Unique characters are very welcome.)
- Uniqueness
- Overall Impact & Wow Factor
While this list is not extensive, the panel can bring new knowledge and understanding to their insights. We also want to acknowledge that while this is a contest, this is not meant to pass judgment on any person's creation, as all cosplays are unique and deserve recognition, which is why we work to provide an opportunity to display each person's work. The cosplay contest judging isn't about critiquing and comparing but celebrating all and highlighting talent.
The Organizers and Judging panel reserves the right to update an entry category if it fits.
