Jackbox Games - All Ages

Panel Details

  • Location: Mariners Centre Lounge, 2nd Floor
  • Hosts: Clifford Emberley of Pair-A-Dice Bistro

A series of Jackbox games that can be played from any device. Which games will be played will depend on the number of participants at the start of each game, not the start of the panel/event. Two session will take place, one on Friday Evening for all ages and on Saturday evening (recommended to be +18). Listed at Mature as the overall content is open to the public and content may vary based on audience participation.

Theme by Scene: What's the point of creative fiction?

An author presented panel on how to make your writing clear, impactful, and as meaningful as you want it. I'll untangle the differences between plot, theme, and character arc, and chart a course for managing all three in a manageable step-by-scene way. The discussion is followed up with Q&A where I'll take questions about the writing process. The panel applies to anyone who writes; authors, graphic novelists, game designers, and screenwriters.



Murder on the High Seas

Panel Details

In the mid-1800s murder befell a sailing ship. Months at sea, a demanding captain and a diabolical plot all combined to cause a mutiny on board this ill-fated ship. This presentation will recount the crime, and it will be up to the audience to piece together the clues and discover who did it.
