Y-CON is recruiting! We're looking to fill an open role for a Sponsorship Coordinator on our executive planning committee!
Y-CON is a volunteer run, non-profit dedicated to community growth through gaming. Some of the tasks you would take on in the Sponsorship Coordinator role include:
- Securing sponsorship for our annual convention and various one-day events
- Managing the partnerships between Y-CON and our sponsors
- Developing our annual event sponsorship kit
- Attending monthly meetings and contributing to the overall success of Y-CON
- Assisting our marketing team with promotional material
Some of the skills we're looking for:
- Strong communication and networking skills
- A passion for community building
- Interest and knowledge in gaming/geeky fandoms
- Experience using MS Office or Google Suite software (spreadsheets, document editing, etc...)
- Previous event management/sponsorship management experience preferred, but not required
