We're excited to announce the debut of a brand new Y-CON event - Speed Puzzle Competitions sponsored by Gator Byte Computers & Entertainment! 🧩
Speed puzzling is a competition between individuals, pairs or teams where you get a 500 or 1000 piece puzzle and only an hour an a half to finish it - or as much as you can!

Speed Puzzle Schedule

  • Individuals: Sunday, June 2nd - 10:00am to Noon
  • Pairs: Sunday, June 2nd - Noon to 2:00pm
  • Teams: Sunday, June 2nd - 2:00pm to 4:00pm

We're so excited to announce our third Y-CON 2024 guest - artist Brianna June! 🎉

Brianna June is a freelance comic illustrator from the East Coast of Canada. Her Professional work includes illustrated variant covers and colors for Archie Comics, Second Sight Publishing, Keenspot Publishing, creator owned comics as well works in Animation with Cartoon Conrad. Announcing artist Hal Hilden as our second Y-CON 2024 Guest!

Announcing our second guest at Y-CON 2024, the incredibly talented artist Hal Hilden! 🎉
 
Mason Harold (Hal) Hilden is a Bluenoser, who currently resides in Saint John, New Brunswick, with his wife Stacy, & daughter Hayley.
 
Over the last 20 years, Hal has written comic books for Lucky Comics, Red Leaf Comics, Tidalwave Productions & GY6 Studio. He has also teamed up with talented NS artist and creator Andrew Clark on numerous occasions. Hal has also dabbled in writing mini-biographies, interviews, sports articles, and scripting for both animation and movie.
 
Hal is currently collaborating on a top-secret project with Andrew Clark, penning a small script for artist Dario Carrasco Jr.
 
When not writing comics, Hal also writes fiction under his full name Mason H. Hilden, and has had drabbles and stories appear in anthologies from Black Hare Press, Macabre Ladies Publishing, and Iron Faerie Publishing.

Our friends at Dicefell Tournament in Annapolis Valley are back this September with another epic D&D 5E adventure and tournament!

Get Your Dice Ready… and mark your calendars, the 2024 Dicefell Tournament is September 14th & 15th, back at the Cambridge Community Centre, in the Annapolis Valley! With another mind-blowing Dungeons & Dragons 5e adventure to test your skills, and patience if you recall last years wooden puzzle?

Join solo and meet some new friends or with your 4-person crew and battle your way to the top 3 spots or just play for the fun of it. Every gamer (16+) is welcome at the D.F.T.! We hope to see you there. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for updates and free monthly giveaways!
